Reflections

Mist Season comes from Hmeenlinna, Finland. The aim of the group is to play music that includes a spectrum of emotional and dynamic elements, bordering between progressive rock and fusion. Mist Season has been compared for example with Weather Report, Pekka Pohjola, Shadowfax, Koinonia, Camel, Bill Bruford, Passport and Pat Metheny Group. Reflections is Mist Season's first CD to feature vocals (by Mirja Lassila on two tracks). CD contains 14 tracks of music varying between melodic symphonic prog and more up-beat rhyhmic fusion/prog tracks. The CD has been mixed and mastered by a well-known Finnish record producer and TV journalist Tommi Liuhala, who has ever since the 70's been working with, for instance, Wigwam, Kalevala and Haikara. Asi with the previous albums, Reflections comes with a 20 page, 4-color booklet.
