Going Up

This album is kind of a diary over the past decade of my life. The lyrics are based on my own experiences as well as the inspiration from people around me. It's all about things that can happen in the everyday life of a human being. Sometimes it's great to be alive, and sometimes it sucks. Sometimes we just string along, and sometimes we struggle hard to achive our goals. For me personally it's about getting closure for this period of my life through this album, so that I can move on to the next chapter. I feel very hopeful about the future, and I believe that the best thing we can do is to see all that is positive in every situation and cherish that. Even the darkest night can turn into the sunniest day ever. Recording this material was such a joyful experience, and I am truly greatful for the opportunity to work with such fine musicians. Thank you Ikiz, Erik Lindeborg and Kristian Lind for bringing your genius musicality into my songs. Finding the right grooves for each track, especially the title song, Going Up. This one turned out quite different from what I had planned, only so much better. Thanks to you guys!
