This is the first classic album to be released from Mike Oldfield's back catalogue. It is 35 years since the opening passage was used in the film the Exorcist, making the album a global phenomenon. 分厚いBOXの存在感、流石です（笑）。２００９MIXは音の流れが滑らかになり、１９７３MIXの尖がった緊張感が薄まったような感がなきにしもあらず。ハイライトのチューブラーベル連打でも期待したほど盛り上がらず、ちょっち残念。それでも全編、２００３年の再録Ver.ほど改変していないので、よしとしましょう。デモトラック集は、大部分がDVD-Audio版に収録されていたそうですが、買い逃していたので、４割引きだったのを機に入手できて一安心。LPが不要（BOXEDを含めて３種類も持っているのです）のため、私としては★１つ減です。

これ程人を癒してくれる音楽を私は他に知らない。全ての響きがスコットランドの冷たく美しい海に通じている。ＤＶＤ映像は衝撃的！ヒレッジとフレッド・フリスが一緒に！この時代のヴァージンだけにできた。

またﾃﾞﾗｯｸｽ･ｴﾃﾞｨｼｮﾝですか？以前出た物と同じですか？同じですよね？DVDもBBC映像と違うんですか？09年ﾘﾏｽﾀｰされてるし、焼増しにしてSHM-CDにして1000円も高く、以前のSACDより3000円も高い。RemixにしてもTUBULAR BELLSⅡ、Ⅲ聴けばいいですし、前々魅力感じません。ｼﾞｬｹですがﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾝ違うし、ﾀｲﾄﾙに2003って堂々と入ってるし(この通り発売されるか分かりません)、ここまでｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙを無視した商法にはただ驚くばかりです。ｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙは傑作ですが、これは別物です。初めて触れる人にはﾘﾏｽﾀｰ通常盤(見つけれたらSACD)をお勧めします。最新ﾘﾏｽﾀｰSHM-CDがまだ可愛く思えます。
