American Cave

After a long hiatus from the music business where Mike traveled across America as part of the duo Salmond and Mulder, Mike went into the studio with piano legend Larry Knechtel (Dixie Chicks, Simon and Garfunkel, Bread) and a solid line up of players to produce an essentially live album. Americana all the way with influences well back into early folk and jazz, here's what Lloyd Peterson, founder and president of the Mount baker Blues Festival said upon hearing American Cave: 'very reminiscent of one of my favorites of all time, Bob Dylan, especially his modern era music...that great, same fine story-telling energy...the whole album is good, very very good.'
