Here it is folks...the long awaited Live CD from Mighty Mike and his smokin' band. Recorded at two northern California hotspots in November 2008, Live Set features punchy horns and loads of wild and fearless MMS guitar! There is definitely a lot of guitar on this record that I just will never be able to capture in a studio setting, says Schermer, in fact, the entire band played with complete abandon. We are just tickled pink that this much fun was captured and archived. Without a doubt, FUN is the operating word for this CD...nary a ballad nor slow blues in the whole bunch, Live Set is a big ol' party in a little plastic box. DO NOT play this CD before going to bed. LOUD...on a long drive en route to somewhere fun, but be careful... I put that CD on in the car, and by the time I got to the end of the Medley I looked down and I was going 100 MPH!
