Relics From The Wasteland

Relics from the Wasteland is Might Could's first album since 2007's All Intertwined. Though the band's trademark sound of interlocking and harmonizing acoustic guitars and bass is still present, a few twists have made their way into this release. More hints of percussion (even a full electronic drum kit) make their way into some of the tracks, and gypsy jazz has made it into the mix as well in the form of the song 'For Ellie.' Might Could's first formally recorded covers also appear here, including a version of Barber's 'Medea's Dance of Vengeance' and the Jethro Tull classic 'Songs from the Wood.' Beyond that, expect crazy rhythmic interplay in songs like 'That's a Malrt' and 'Trials of Cromulence,' and more contemplative melodies in 'Relapse' and 'Sarabande.'
