Alejandro Amo and Ramiro Larrain, as Microesfera, are part of Buenos Aires' techno scene since the late 90s. Along with Gustavo Lamas, Leandro Fresco and others, Microesfera are one of the southern cone's most popular and progressive dance electronic acts. Pushing their minimal techno and micro house to new heights, Microesfera have recently released two EP's on Japan's Mule Electronic label (which include remixes by Mike Shannon and Gustavo Lamas) which are distributed worldwide by Kompakt. Their debut album for Static Discos, 'Negative', is a concept piece which transmutes techno sounds into a backward mesh of avant dance aesthetics. A subversive collection of tracks that squigle between analog sounding microhouse and dub. The album also includes a couple of remixes by Mexican wunderkinds Latinsizer and Fax plus a third remix by Receptor from Chile.
