1980年ローマ生まれのベーシスト、ミシェル・ロッシグリオーネのリーダー作。ボルドー生まれのフランス人ピアニストで「ペトルチアーニの後継者」と評価の高いビンセント・ボウルヘイクスも参加。

フレッシュでみずみずしいサウンド、タイトルからも分るようにピアノ・トリオが持つロマンチックな要素をふんだんに引き出した作品です。しかしながら、決して甘口にならず、「Hollygram」、「Shoes Now」、「Giant Steps」で聴かれるリズミカルな演奏では、硬質なピアノのフレーズと相俟って、彼らの情熱は吹き出さんかの如くです。2曲でゲストに招かれた2管をフロントに立て、アルバムにアクセントを与えています。正統派ジャズの注目作。
