「ユグノー教徒」に関してはサザーランドのオーストラリア･オペラの引退公演のほうが断然良いと思います。歌手全員と指揮者、オケを含めた意気込みが全く違います。ショルテス版だとこの曲の素晴らしさが十分に伝わらないと思います。 ショルテス版が勝っているのは、日本語字幕と画質＆音質といった演奏以外の条件ばかりのように思われます。

独語歌唱が思った以上に抵抗ないですが仏語の韻を踏む歌唱のところはやはり無理があったみたい。それより後半・特に第３幕は省略が多く長いこの作品とはいえ省略の仕方にかなり問題。が演出はかなり面白く鑑賞できた。特に最初の二つの幕は省略も少なく理解しやすくかなり満足できる。まだこの曲を全曲聴いてない方にはＣＤで聴いてからの鑑賞を勧めます。
