When you blend the worlds of hip hop, jazz and poetry over a LIVE band sparking an electric atmosphere you are aesthetically dropped into the world of the Alabama native 'McSquared'. The name 'McSquared' was coined through artfully exemplifying the universal definition of 'MC' (historically defined as Master of Ceremonies) by musically channeling the jazz spirit of an 'MC' from the earlier 19th century such as Dizzy Gillespie, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr. and Louis Armstrong while verbally possessing the stage presence and lryics of the modern-day hip hop 'MC'. McSquared's debut album 'The Search' has been recognized as the spark of a new hip hop movement that will soon ignite and act as a bridge between southern hip hop and the roots of jazz and poetry.
