これは次のステップアップへのアルバムと言えばいいか。 自信に満ち溢れていて余裕がある演奏力。エネルギーの塊というべき前作から比べれば、今作はスケールの大きな音絵巻図と言える。個人的に前作の方が好きだし、対局にあるハードコアバンド、Convergeの緻密でプログレな演奏から比べれば、ややあちらに軍配が上がるかな。とはいえ、メタルが好きな人なら持っていなきゃおかしいでしょっていうアルバムです。

MASTODON恐ろしいﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞだ。特にﾄﾞﾗﾑが凄腕でﾋﾞﾙ･ﾌﾞﾗｯﾌｫｰﾄﾞの知性＋ｷｰｽ･ﾑｰﾝの野性を備えている。1st前のﾃﾞﾓから、このﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞを追い続けているが本当に素晴らしい。HMだけの狭い範疇に括られない超個性派「ROCK｣だ。是非、単独来日公演を祈願したい。先ず、この一番聴き易いｱﾙﾊﾞﾑから是非MASTODONの世界へ！！！
