Mark Porter, from South Wales, has toured with Harry Bence and the New Squadronaires, the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Glenn Miller Orchestra UK, as well as cabaret, cruise ships and jazz club dates. This Is the Moment features fifteen ballads, swing and jazz standards including How About You, Day in Day Out, the Night Is Young, Make Someone Happy, Todo Pasara and Falling in Love with Love. Mark is backed by a ten piece band featuring British Jazz stars Brian Dee (piano), Howard Magill (sax/flute) Bobby Worth (drums) and Judd Proctor (guitar). Mark now fronts the New Squadronaires and performs in the touring Kings of Swing show across Great Britain.
