Identity

I really don't like to talk about myself. Scratch that: I love to talk about myself, but when it comes to describing my sound and musical story, I don't really know what to say. As much as I'd like to have some story about growing up in the 'hood and rap music being my ticket out, that's not true; I'm a child of the suburbs with a day job as a programmer. And sound? I really don't listen to much rap or hip-hop, so I don't know whose style I'm shamelessly ripping off. But as far as personal influences go, my lyrical style is most closely related to John Reuben (though I got my start hearing the Free At Last album by dc Talk) and my music is an amalgamation of various video game tunes (Sonic the Hedgehog mostly) and The Echoing Green.
