Open Mouth Insert Foot

Though boisterous and begging to be heard, Loudtalkers started as a nameless trio when offered a gig at the legendary 924 Gilman St. in Berkeley. The bay area band took the stage as East Coast Loudtalkers and have since dropped the East Coast, released an eponymous EP, and just finished their full-length debut. Loudtalkers is Chris Ansuini on guitar and vocals, Matt Roads on bass, and Taylor Rankin on drums. Ansuini and Roads have been jamming together since their middle school years, making waves in the burgeoning Livermore music scene for almost a decade. They met Rankin at Cal State East Bay where he's currently studying composition. In addition to killer rock music by way of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flaming Lips, and more, Ansuini and Roads got their degrees in jazz/performance and all three have headlined Yoshi's in Oakland. Expect Open Mouth Insert Foot to offer hints of rock, jazz, folk, and the sounds of California.
