Ven A El

Lorrie Martin was born in Eagle Pass, Texas. At the age of 6 she began piano and guitar lessons and was playing the guitar and singing with other family members at their church by the age of 8. Today she writes her own Christian lyrics and music in both English and Spanish. Her next project, her 3rd CD, she plans to record strictly in English. Lorrie's main desire is that God always be glorified and that her songs bring forth healing and transformation especially to those in need and who feel lost. Her songs speak of personal experiences and how God has brought so much peace, comfort, love and spiritual knowledge more profoundly to her life. Lorrie is an active member of Christian Community Roca Firme in Eagle Pass, Texas, where she serves in the Praise and Worship Group, the Department of Christian Education as Leader of the Children's Praise and Worship Team and she and her husband, Fred, both serve and assist in the Youth Ministry. Fred serves in Pastoral Care and they have a son, Jacob and their precious daughter, Lindsey Anne, who went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2008, at the age of 7, after medical complications from a congenital heart defect. Lorrie holds dear to her heart and acknowledges the rich blessings God has bestowed upon her life, her family and this ministry.
