6才ながら作詞・作曲を手掛けるも手掛ける注目のシンガー・ソングライターのデビュー・アルバム。
ニュージーランドのオークランド出身。タレント・ショーなどの映像で彼女の才能に注目したA&Rが13才の時に契約を果たし、その頃から作曲も始めている才能あふれる少女。
今年5月にリリースしたファースト・シングル「ROYALS」、6月にリリースした「Tennis Court」は、地元ニュージーランドのチャートでいずれも1位に輝いている。特にファースト・シングル「ROYALS」は、米Billboard Alternative Songs でも1位を獲得するなど、更なるヒットへの期待が高まっている。
透き通る若さの中にも、芯の強さと儚さをあわせもつ歌声は、エイミー・ワインハウスやラナ・デル・レイなどのファンにもオススメしたい。
