1966年のColumbiaへの『Finger Lickin' Good』に続いて録音されたDr.Lonnie Smithのブルーノート第一弾アルバム。事実上のデビューアルバム。前作ではジョージ・ベンソン・グループに属しての録音だった。ここではかれの音楽性の主張を含めて迫力を増している。プーチョ＆ラテン・ソウル・ブラザースからプーチョとパーカッション２人が“助っ人”として参加している。
