Local 7 is a very promising group from Grenoble, France ! Patrick ANDRIEU (Guitar, bass & keyboards) and Jean-Franois GRAVILOFF (Drums & percussions) recorded their first album in the year 2001. And Substrat was nevertheless a masterpiece ! on it, this duet wonderfully perform an instrumental Progressive jazz-rock full of invention and originality. Sounding as a whole band, the two musicians unsurprisingly remind of the style's masters such as BRAND X, Allan HOLDSWORTH and SPYRO GYRA, but also of PRIAM for the beautiful guitar lines. The whole is packaged with the guarantee of an original and perfect result. Why still hesitating ?...
