Compared to such bands as Staind, Alice in Chains, and Three Days Grace, LIFESTYLE is a fusion of Hard and Alternative rock that is stirring up a buzz in Central Florida music scene. With influences spanning from the early 90's Seattle Grunge bands to the late 90's/early 00's Alternative Hard Rock bands, LIFESTYLE brings a unique sound getting back to the alternative rock roots that once had a strong hold on the local artist community of Central Florida. Lifestyle started after longtime friends Bennett Livingston (Bassist) and Scott Zimmerman (Drummer) were shown a video of Stephen Perkins (Vocals/Guitarist) playing guitar on a friend's camera phone. Instantly recognizing the sound that the two had been looking for, and after a few failed attempts at starting other projects, they quickly contacted Stephen. From then on Lifestyle has been creating ...new music encompassing all of the influences each band member embodies. The intricate and unique guitar riffs combined with the fulfilling vocal melodies of Stephen display a strong alternative rock influence of bands such as Staind, Alice in Chains and Seather which is complemented by the heavy hitting, technical drum beats of Scott and the punchy, empowering bass lines of Bennett. Lifestyle is currently playing live shows all over the greater Orlando area with their two singles 'Walk Away' and 'Your Name' circulating through several Florida rock stations such as 101.1 WJRR's Native Noise, Radio Hab Internet radio and Southwest Florida's greatest rock station 99X.
