Formed by Wolvhammer band mates Adam Clemans and Jeff Wilson (Chrome Waves, Doomsday, ex-Nachtmystium) with members of Minneapolis bands Mourner and Iron Thrones, Liar in Wait sees these accomplished musicians tap into their admiration for classic '80s Goth/Darkwave in the vein of the Cure, Bauhaus, Joy Division and Sisters of Mercy. Translations of the Lost captures the brooding, gut-wrenching melancholy of the aforementioned bands' classic moments of glory. Featuring a cover of Fields of the Nephilim's 'And There Will Your Heart Be Also,' the four-song EP is a statement of purpose from this promising new band that is poised to unleash a new energy and movement in dark music.
