それまでは、ソウルジャズが殆んどだったオルガンジャズの歴史を変えた大名盤。「朝日のように爽やかに」のフロントとの掛け合いや「ゾルタン」でのグルーヴ感溢れるフレーズのリピート等、アドリブでは攻撃的なフレーズ満載。また、アルバム中、半分の３曲を作曲したウッディ・ショウのソングライティング能力も光るが、そのプレイも秀逸。オレンジレンジのプロモーションビデオでも、メンバー１名がジャケットデザインのＴシャツ着てました。
