2008年にBBC JAZZ AWARDを受賞しており、2018年にECMデビューをアルバム『Obsidian』で果たしたイギリスの若きピアニスト/オルガン奏者のECM2作目。前作はほぼ教会のオルガンによるソロ作品であったのに対し、本作はテナー・サックス、ギター、チェロ、ドラムスなども加えオルガンのサウンドをより広い形でプレンゼンテーションした作品。参加しているミュージシャンはDownesと長くつきあいのある面々＋ノルウェーのギタリスト、Stian Westehusは初の共演。「初の人を加えることによって録音の方向性がどう変わるのか見てみたかったんだ。」とDownesはコメントしている。
