2009 is poised to be another huge year for Massachusetts own Killswitch Engage. They are currently in the studio with noted producer Brendan OBrien, working on the follow up to their previous two Gold-selling albums, the End of Heartache and As Daylight Dies. 素晴らしいの一言。 KSEしかできない、 壮絶なミドルパートと極上なメロディーの絶妙な融合！ 全曲素晴らしい。 集大成にして最高傑作。 3曲目で途中からスラッシュに切り替わる辺りはさすがkse。

aftershockの頃のメロデス節が少なくなったがこれはこれで最近のアルバムに比べればよりアンダーグランド臭が有 り秀作だね。

まだメンバーが４人編成なので、ＨＥＡＶＹではないがスピード感は、今と変わらない。現在のアルバムを聴いてからこのアルバムを聴いたほうがおもしろい。
