2009 Swedish language release, the eighth studio album from the Swedish Alt-Rock band Kent. The album was recorded between 2008 and 2009 in New York, Hansa studios in Berlin, Psykbunkern/Park Studio and Hyltinge Church in Sweden and in different living rooms, and is produced with Jon Schumann, who also produced Kent's previous studio album. The album's title, Rod, is Swedish for 'Red'. 11 tracks.

最高傑作ついに登場！録音はベルリンのあの「ハンザスタジオ」、前回のエレクトロ路線に更に磨きをかけたサウンドで、レファレンスで言えばデペッシュモードの「ブラックセレブレーション」あたりでしょうか。フロアを意識した前半の曲間の「つなぎ」、オーケストラサウンドが絡むリフレインが美しいＴ４は聞いていて涙もの。タイトルはスウェーデン語でいう「赤」、今までのシリアスなタイトルから一足おいたどちらかというと楽観的なタイトル。とはいえ歌詞は相変わらずの「アウトサイダー」的世界について。「未来が見えるかい、何も育たず、何も生きず、誰も死なない未来が」(T4、Sjukhus「病院」）・・・心の一枚です。皆さん是非聞いてください！
