私にとっては懐かしいアーティストである。ブレスレスで一世を風靡したのがもう28年前でした。 サックス奏者のフュージョンアルバムは、グローバーワシントンJr.、本多俊之、ジェイク・コンセプションなどを所有していますが、メロウな音色は健在です。このアルバムは、オリジナルと既存曲と半々ですが、どれもお洒落な作品、編曲ばかりで夜のドライブや、部屋でお酒を飲みながら聞くのには最適です。有名なイパネマの娘は、同じサックス奏者でゲッツの名盤がありますが、ゲッツは泥臭いイメージの音色でさすがケニーはアダルトな都会的なイメージ。 ボサノバファンには好き嫌いが出るでしょうが、ＢＧＭとして聞くにはケニーをお薦めいたします。
