Product Description

'The Class of 1962' was inspired by a 50th high school reunion. The song is both a quick glimpse of 1962 USA in general, and some specific personal audio snapshots of classmates. It is autobiographical, but also inclusive of those in the class of '62. It is serious but also light and fun. Some actual reviews: 'The song is SPEC-TAC-U-LAR!!! What amazing creativity, humor, emotional honesty and sheer rhyming acumen. I'm blown away by this'. 'It is great!'. 'Wow!'. The surprise is the response that the recording has achieved outside the specific school mentioned. It seems to have struck a universal chord, with characters and experiences that everyone can relate to. The rest of the album contains rare 60's recordings from Keith that are highly collectible, and almost impossible to find. The King 45 is valued at $1,000 in the top value guide, and has made more than one top ten favorite 'Garage Band' song list. It is offered here for the first time in a format other than a 45 record. The Stacy record helped Keith become inductee # 200 into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. These were recorded in the iconic Sam Phillips Nashville studio and the King Records Cincinnati studio. If you like Buddy Holly, Rick Nelson, and Ritchie Valens, you will like this special album with it's' haunting and memorable melody.
