本作はｹﾙﾝを別格とすれば間違いなくｷｰｽの最高傑作で一部のｼﾞｬｽﾞﾌｧﾝだけが共有するにはあまりにも勿体ない｡ﾋﾟｱﾉ好きな人全てに聴いて欲しい全曲駄演なし｡まさにﾀｲﾄﾙ通りに秋の夜長にﾋﾟｯﾀﾘでﾒﾗﾝｺﾘｯｸなﾒﾛﾃﾞｲｰに心奪われます｡

「けれんみがない」という言葉が一番似合う。「My Wild Irish Rose」のシンプルな演奏に込められた想い。「Be My Love」のせつなさ…。全10曲のすべてが、小さいけれど大切な宝物。　　お世話になった方、大切な友人に何か贈り物したい時、真っ先に思いつくのがこのディスク。

ピアノソロということであれば、僕は真っ先にこのアルバムをお勧めする。キース・ジャレット、最高のジャズピアニストが最愛の人に捧げた心が震えるような名演奏。慢性疲労症候群による2年間の暗い闘病生活を経て、復活を期して自宅のスタジオで録音された渾身の作品。苦しみを乗り越えて解き放たれたキースが、ピアノへの愛、支えてくれる人への愛を美しいメロディーに想いを乗せて、一音一音に心を込めて奏でる魂の音楽。この素晴らしい音楽を分類することはできない。ジャズであり、クラッシックであり、ソウルであり、ロックですらあるだろう
