10 originals on Ordinary Band ramble through the Wisconsin countryside, finding scenes of late summer farm fields, choppy Lake Michigan waves, and the roaring masses at Lambeau Field. Dahl tells the story of her small-town life with a sharp eye and a compassionate heart. The album was produced by Memphis flat picking wizard Eric Lewis, and with Lewis, Dahl and her husband, Rich Higdon (upright bass, washboard) recorded the bulk of the album in Door County, Wisconsin. With fiddler Tracy Grammer, multi-instrumentalist Rory Hoffman, drummer Mike August, vocals by Claudia Russell, and Amanda Rigell.
