    タイトルの『大いなる秋田』は石井歓氏の作品で永らく幻の作品と言われた曲だそうで、CDの発売はこの盤が初めてのようです。 合唱と吹奏楽のための交声曲でなかなか面白い作品です。 もう１曲、天野正道氏の交響組曲『BR』が収録されています。 これはバトル・ロワイヤルという映画の音楽から編まれた物で、美しいメロディの作品です。 演奏はアマチュアならではの未熟さという物も所々で見られますが、それを上回る共感豊かな演奏です。 欲を言うなら選曲面で(２枚組になっても良いので)石井氏の他の吹奏楽作品も収録(曠野をゆく等)も収録して欲しかった。 音質は良いです
