Psychedelic Trance Tarantella

For over 15 years, Kalscima has been one of the most important and innovative bands in the Italian music world, taking traditional music from Salento from the farmyard to the modern world by regenerating it through technology. The band was featured in the hugely successful La Notte della Taranta tour, which was led by Ludovico Einaudi. Psychedelic Trance Tarantella takes the famous Tarantella to a different kind of dance floor. Traditional sounds are heard through the distorting prism of psychedelic trance beats that the band picked up from their travels around the world. The album features a cameo from Ludovico Einaudi, who plays piano on the song Due mari (two seas).
