前作が日本盤未発売なのが信じられなかったKISSの通算20作目のスタジオ･アルバム。今回は日本盤が発売される。前作でも曲は素晴らしかったが、今回は更に上を行った感じでどの曲もKISSらしさが伝わってくる。KISSはMONSTERです。 おすすめ･････①②③④⑤⑦⑨⑩⑪ 88点

前作は結局日本盤は発売されず、来日も中止になっちゃったけど、内容は素晴らしかった。今作は更に充実した作品になった。ポール＆ジーンの純キッスサウンドにトミーの味付けがうまく作用した感じ。エースファンとしてはちょっと複雑な気持ちだけど、今更エースの復帰は有り得ないので、今のキッスはこれで最高です。エースも前作ソロが良かったので、もう一枚お願いします。で、キッスの前座で是非来日を！

KISS節復活！特に④はステージでのポールとジーンの動きが想像できるほど。DaughtryやNickelbackのようなAmericanrock慣れしている世代には、曲が古臭く感じるかも。その分、ギターサウンドが少し今風になっている気がする。そのへんが「オリジナルメンバーだったらなぁ」と思うところだが、昔からのKISSfunなら、思わず ”ニンマリ” するはず。
