「ASYLUM」と同様、日本でのKISSとしてはあまり恵まれない時代のアルバム。その中でも「Heaven’s On Fire」はライヴの鉄板曲として今でも演奏されています。

前作もメタル系の作品だったが、今作は更にゴリゴリ感が増してきたようだ。自分的には⑦がお勧め。

流石KISS！！ 素顔になったｲﾝﾊﾟｸﾄでプラチナムを売り上げた前作に続き､今作は中身！ 楽曲の素晴らしさでプラチナムを売り上げた!!まさにKISS久々の大ヒットアルバム！！ 全体的に当時流行りの音作りで、キャッチーな①,⑦や大ヒットシングル②を始め、疾走系の⑥などKISS流のLA.メタル風メロディを完成させている。 映画出演などでジーン不在の中、孤軍奮闘のポールに敬礼！
