This is the follow-up to Newcomb's 2003 solo debut Turbinado (FEE #1025). An accomplished guitarist, songwriter and record producer, Scrappy Jud has been a fixture on the Austin music scene for more than a decade. He is a former founding member of Loose Diamonds and has performed or recorded with everybody from Toni Price to Ray Wylie Hubbard to Bob Schneider to Ian Mclagan to Beaver Nelson. He is also a member of the Austin supergroup The Resentments which includes Jon Dee Graham and Stephen Bruton.
