Jonathan Emile is a 23 year old poet/rapper/producer/composer from the Montreal urban underground. A cancer survivor, Jonathan has pulled together experiences of his struggle to share a positive message through the elements of mind, peace, and love. His viral videos on YouTube have garnered over two million hits. Jonathan began rapping at 14; mentored by poet-trumpeter Jason Blackbird Selman at The Black Theatre Workshop; and is heavily involved with community youth organizations. This specially priced 7-song EP comes with a full color 8 page booklet with the Jonathan Emile story; his battle with cancer and the inspiration for his rap, reggae and neo-soul.
