On July 14, 2007 The Jolly Rogers reached the culmination of their most ambitious project to date: to record for both CD and DVD release a self-produced concert. Held in the historic Gem Theater in Kansas City's Jazz District, the show was a wonderful success. With nearly 500 audience members, field recording specialists from BRC Audio and seven incredibly talented guest musicians the show that evening was the result of months of planning and organization. The NO REFUNDS album represents the best from that show. The CD opens with a very special piece composed and performed by our friend and engineer, Don James - a symphonic Overture of five Jolly Rogers songs that we used to open the show. It's presented here in it's full, unedited version which leads into songs from the show, recorded live so you get everything you'd hear at a Jolly Rogers show that isn't on a studio CD release. The album closes with two bonus tracks of all-new studio-recorded original music by The Jolly Rogers. The CD was released in October of 2007; and has already become one of our most popular titles and garnered rave reviews.
