Kickin This Stone

Johnsmith is a touring songwriter from Trempeleau, WI, and he's a gifted and soulful, high-energy performer and vocalist. Kickin' This Stone was co-produced by Lloyd Maine's, and the players include Maine's, Darrell Scott, Tom Kimmel, Glen Fukunaga and more. The CD's highlights are Thomas Francis, a tribute to his six Irish great-grandparents, Friend of the Coyote a tribute to the late Dave Carter, and Greg Brown's Early. Johnsmith's songs have a richness and depth of feeling that stem from a genuine belief in human triumph. In 2004, Johnsmith headlined at the Kerrville, Sisters, and Woody Guthrie Folk Festivals.
