このCDはジョン・ウィリアムズと、ボストン・ポップス・オーケストラが、ソニーに移籍後に録音したアルバムの一つで、アメリカの偉大な歌手、フランク・シナトラが歌った歌をオーケストラで演奏したのがこのアルバムです。 オーケストラの編曲はこのオケのアレンジャーであった、リチャード・ヘイマンや、ネステコなどが担当している。 歌はないが、オーケストラのサウンドを存分に発揮したムード満点の上質なアレンジ＆演奏で、良質なイージーリスニングだと思います。 録音も綺麗。
