ローリング・ストーン好きでもブルース・ロックファンはミック・テイラー在籍時のサウンドに心惹かれる人は多いと思う。そのミック・テイラーがストーンズに参加する以前にジョン・メイオールのブルースブレイカーズにエリック・クラプトン、ピーター・グリーンに続く第3のギタリストとして迎えられ発表したのがこのアルバム。ストーンズ在籍時最後のアルバム「イッツ・オンリー・ロックンロール」での各パートでのギターソロは秀逸、後年の活躍が垣間見れるアルバムである。
