コルトレーンは、新しい奏法、コードチェンジ等を探求しトレーニングし続けたので、トレーニング中であるのは当然でそれを評価軸とすることは間違い。1956年以降は、ミスのほとんどない演奏をしている。この演奏は、印象がSOULTRANEに似ている。バラードも多い。リズムセクションがややあっていない。が力演だ。のシーツオブサウンドを多用しない演奏。ファンなら買うべきだ。90点。
