言わずと知れたコルトレーンの最高傑作の完全版。1枚目がパート１〜４までのオリジナル中心、2枚目が編集過程と翌日にアーチーシェッﾌﾟを加えた別録音。3枚目は翌年夏の至上の愛の何とライブ盤。 5星以外はあり得ない傑作だが、2枚目はやはり歴史的資料の面も否めず、最初にはオリジナル版を聞き、感動した方が、更にこれに進むことを勧める。
