自分のNEEDSの範囲に迷いが生じた時に､どこまでが自分にとってのMUSTなのか？､どこまでが自分にとってのWISHなのか？こんな自問自答の解決の時に､このアルバム①のJuno Lewis のヴォーカルがヒントを与えてくれる。( ※　この曲､トレーンの出番は多くはないが､楽曲はいかにもColtrane 。重ニガく哀しい曲調。) 他の曲もそれぞれ意義深く堪能はできるのだけれど､個人的には､アルバムタイトル曲の①が収録されている事に､強く思い入れを感じてきた。

コルトレーンは至上の愛’までと言うファンが多い。一理はあるが間違い！このアルバム聴かなきゃ。トレーンのトレーンらしさがここにある。
