Wreckage

Wreckage is Jim Mann's second official release and follows 2008's Six String Story, which Rudy Minnaert of the Country Eagle praised as A sunset's touch. We look forward to hearing more from Jim Mann in the future. In celebration of this latest release, Jim will embark on a US tour this fall/winter. Recorded in Nashville, this six-song EP was written by Mann along with producer, Matt Troja. On making the EP, Mann notes, We wanted to make something that moved people. For both Matt and I, lyrics meant everything. As a writer, I wanted my listeners to care for the characters in my songs and feel connected to the stories...as if in some way they were their stories too...their hearts that were broken and searching for healing. Wreckage is a powerful word and love is the most powerful emotion. The artwork on the cover shows it all...a man and woman, so close and yet, so far away from happiness.
