Toxic Waste

The Jiles Band is Alt/Rock Band out of Canada's Capital, Ottawa, Ontario. The band consists of 4 members. We have Ken Cooper on Drums, Norm Guay on Bass, Danny George on Lead Guitar and Roland Venne on Rhythm Guitar and Vocals. This is the band's fourth studio release. Although this album is not a theme album the title song was used as a theme for the album cover. The title song was inspired by the Mexico gulf oil spill disaster in 2010. More than 200 million gallons of crude oil was pumped into the Gulf of Mexico for a total of 87 days, making it the biggest oil spill in U.S. history. The song delivers a strong message 'There's a means to an end Toxic Waste is in our heads'. People only care about the end result which is money and don't care for what happens in between. Our greatest resource for survival is air and water. Hopefully they'll be plenty for future generations.
