The Jetbeats were born of an infatuation with British Beat Music and the British Invasion that followed. Formed in 2013 in Grand Rapids, Michigan - the band quickly established themselves as the midwest's finest Neo-Beat Music combo. With their debut release, Sonic Boom Boom, The Jetbeats transport you into the dank, sweaty confines of The Cavern Club in 1962. Morgan Moallemian handles the crooning and strums his Gretsch. Dave Jimenez thumps the Hofner Bass. And Justin 'FB' Rutkauskas beats the vintage Slingerlands. The sound is a modern take on the high energy, raucous sonic landscapes of early 60's Britain. The record is faithfully produced by Tommy Schichtel at the world famous Goon Lagoon Studio on sweet, analog tape and an array of vintage instruments. Step into our retro roller coaster.
