スリック、ベイリンという二枚看板が脱退、危機を迎えたスターシップがハード路線に転換して見事にこれを乗り切った佳作。ミッキー・トーマスのハイトーンボーカルが違和感なくバンドにとけ込み、楽曲を盛り上げ、元ジャーニーのエインズレー・ダンバーのドラミングも冴えまくる。だが、それまでのファンには、受け入れられない面もあり、以外と不評だった。
