Recorded in NC at Duck Kee Studio #8 by Jerry Kee. The Ghosts of the Old North State are Brian Yamamoto (guitar and backing vocals), John Flowers (drums), Symen Blumenfeld (bass) and Jefferson Hart (lead vocals, guitar and keyboards). Nathan Golub guested on pedal steel guitar, on loan from John Howie & The Rosewood Bluff and Michael Rank & Stag. This is Hart's 4th studio CD outside of his old bands The Hanks (the 2004 retrospective '420 Bickett Blvd.') and The Brown Mountain Lights (they had a live CD in 2003, 'Late Show At The Cave'). He can also be found online and in various Google searches from years past as Jeff Hart & The Ruins. The Ruins adopted the Ghosts of the Old North State moniker in '13 after 23 years. The change was inspired by the 2011 CD of the same name. This recording, as with all of his recorded output, was mastered by Jeff Carroll at Bluefield Mastering in Raleigh NC.
