Cherry Street

I grew up with music in the house all the time. One day listening to my classically trained mother play Beethoven and the next, my dad and I pretending to be Jimi Hendrix and Ginger Baker in the basement music room. It was enough musical inspiration to fill a lifetime. I started playing drums at a very early age trying to mimic the greats, Buddy Rich, John Bonham, Carter Beauford. At the age of 12 I picked up a guitar and it's been my lifelong partner and best friend ever since. Studying Neil Young's cool calm acoustic picking, Dave Matthews use of open chord shapes, Paul Simon's soul and bouncy groove, and Garfunkel's harmonies. In 2010 I moved to California with a car full of my most prized possessions and a positive open mind. I was lucky enough to meet the band Graffiti6 in Los Angeles and went on tour with them as their road manager. While on tour I discovered that it was possible to make music for a living. They gave me the tools I needed to commit to my own musical journey and most importantly the confidence you need to make it in this business. After touring the States 3 times in a row for a total of 4 months straight, I was ready to start. It has been a year since then and after working like a mad scientist, I am finally very proud to release Cherry Street. I now live in Titletown USA. Green Bay, WI. Home of the Packers.
