This is the fifth studio recording by Northwest Alt-folk Americana artist, Jean Mann. Continuing the rich, musical story set in motion the day her mother passed away in 1999, her passion for expressing the big and small events of life is clearly intact. Recorded at iconic Studio Litho in Seattle, WA (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, The Head and The Heart), between the rocks and stars moves the listener through a fantastic song-scape, twanging the heart while strumming the soul. A myriad of musical styles inform her voice. This collection of songs was written and performed on acoustic and tenor guitars, tenor and baritone ukuleles and harmonica. She has opened for Peter Himmelman and Blame Sally, and shared the stage with Laura Veirs (Rounder Records) and Vicci Martinez (The Voice).
