DILLAとMADLIBの合作ということでかなり洒落たアルバムを期待しましたが、サンプル使いもさることながらハードラップのストリートアルバムでした。両者共にアルバムを重ねる毎にラップのスキルも上達しており、作曲も互いに負けまいとかなり独創的な域で高度。よくDJのデモテープにあるタイトルのように今作は「DILLA VS LIB」でも違和感無いくらい両者の音作りへの熱さを感じました。
