Following My Heart

Following My Heart completes a trilogy of albums begun in 2004, yet this work is a beginning, a move toward new and ever-expanding vistas for me personally as a composer and musician. The music was written during the summer of 2009, near the end of an annus horribilis which saw the deaths of my mother, two of my closest friends, an uncle, other family members and long-time family friends, and friends of friends. In my journey from darkness to light, I've often wondered if i would ever be able to find myself -- or the music -- again. This CD is the result of that journey, and I hope that in some small way it may bring peace, joy, and healing to those who seek it.
